Suzie Travers

Suzie Travers is a dedicated hospitality professional with deep roots in Marblehead, Massachusetts, where she was born, raised and continues to reside. Although Suzie earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Colby-Sawyer College, her heart remained in the hospitality industry, much to the chagrin of her father, who humorously notes the unused degree.
Suzie’s most notable tenure was a remarkable 29-year journey at the Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead. Starting in the parking lot at 17, she climbed the ranks to become the General Manager, showcasing her dedication and leadership. 
In her current role at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Suzie brings her extensive experience and people-centric approach to every event. She finds joy in contributing to memorable occasions for guests, believing that exceptional service is paramount. Her dedication to guest satisfaction aligns seamlessly with Davio’s philosophy of prioritizing the guest experience.
Beyond her professional achievements, Suzie is fluent in American Sign Language, a skill developed through her relationship with her deaf brother. This ability allows her to connect with the deaf community, enhancing their dining experiences. Her personal life has also been enriched by her youngest daughter’s journey, who is on the autism spectrum and has undergone several surgeries, deepening Suzie’s empathy and commitment to inclusivity.
Outside of work, Suzie values her gym time, enjoys walks and cherishes moments with family and friends. At home, Suzie is a proud mother to two daughters, Haley and Bridget. A lifelong dog enthusiast, she grew up with Golden Retrievers and currently shares her home with a cat, embracing the unexpected companionship.
