Tim Seymour
Manager
Tim Seymour was born and raised in Worcester, MA. He developed an early passion for athletics, earning recognition as an All-City athlete while playing varsity ice hockey. He comes from a family with a rich sports legacy—his grandfather was a prolific football coach, his uncle, Kenny O’Donnell, served as Chief of Staff and close aide to John F. Kennedy and was portrayed in the film Thirteen Days.
Tim began his career in hospitality in Boston, MA, working at venues such as Daisy Buchanan, The Fan Club and Seaside Restaurant. He later relocated to Washington, DC, where he met his wife, Katherine. Together they have built a family of three children and six grandchildren.
Tim’s career advanced as Bar Manager at Sign of the Whale, followed by roles as Opening Manager for both Sign of the Whale in Virginia and Paparazzi (part of the BBRG group led by Charlie Sarkis). He then joined The Palm Restaurant, eventually opening and leading the Tysons Corner location as General Manager for over 20 years, where he grew alongside the region’s booming tech industry.
Beyond hospitality, Tim has been deeply involved in philanthropy, hosting numerous charitable events. Notably, supporting JDRF for six consecutive years, helping raise over $1.5 million and Organization for Autism Research for four years, raising more than $1 million.
In his personal life, Tim enjoys time with his three dogs and two cats and has traveled extensively to London, Paris, Rome, Athens, Ireland and Mallorca, with a particular love for Sicily. Known to friends and colleagues as Tim, Timmy or Timbo, he is recognized for his deep-rooted passion for hospitality, his larger-than-life personality, and his lasting impact on the industry.
