Ben Gingras is the General Manager of Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in The Colony, TX at Grandscape. Gingras was born in Maine, grew up in Oklahoma and eventually made his way to Texas. He currently resides in Highland Village.
After graduating Washburn University in Topeka, KS (where he won a baseball scholarship as a second baseman) Gingras started his career in the hospitality industry as a busser at Hoffbrau Steakhouse in the West End district of Dallas. He later took the position as Food & Beverage Director for Rough Creek Lodge Executive Resort & most recently was the Managing Partner for Eddie V’s Prime Seafood in Dallas for six years. He chose a career in the Restaurant Industry because he enjoys the challenges of indulging guests, being competitive, cultivating teams and developing individuals. He says his passion is working the floor and being intertwined with the Davio’s guests & inner guests. According to Gingras “There is nothing like a smoothly run shift with amazing floor flow. When it is orchestrated at the highest of levels there is nothing quite like it in this business.”
His hobbies include working out, coaching little league baseball, cooking and watching sports. The little league baseball team was responsible for two Texas state championships and a regional World Series Championship.
