Carlos Valentin

Carlos Valentin was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and grew up on the island until he was 18 years old. Valentin worked at five hotels that were part of the Relais and Chateaux company including 3 Michelin Star — The Inn at Little Washington. Valentin has proudly worked in the restaurant/hotel business for over 20 years. Valentin believes that it’s always  ”All About the Guest” because “Some of what we do is create memories that last forever. This brings satisfaction to not only the guest but ourselves too. So it’s all about the guests that walk through our doors day in and day out.”

Valentin says his favorite memory of the industry was “Executing an event for Thomas Keller’s new book launch. This was the first time I was at the helm of an event of this caliber. It was one of the proudest moments of my career.” Valentin’s hobbies include hiking and all outdoor activities. He lives with his wife in Front Royal with 2 ponds and lots of wildlife.
