Robert Hughes was born and raised in the small town Staunton, VA. Hughes studied at James Madison University with a degree in Hospitality & a general Business Minor. With a passion for hospitality he has worked as an events Staff at Veritas Vineyard and Winery, Operations Manager at Crosskeys Winery and Front of House Manager at Founding Farmers. Hughes says the most influential person in his life growing up was his father “he’s the hardest worker I know.”
According to Hughes, he chose a career in the restaurant industry because he wanted ” a new challenging experience to help round out my hospitality experience.” He says his area of expertise includes running events. It should always be “All About the Guest” because “Without guests coming into our restaurant we would have nothing. Guests choose to come dine with us because they know the experience we will provide them with. It is our job to deliver on this expectation and exceed it. So the guest will always continue to return. “
Hughes currently lives in Merrifield, VA.
