Aaron DePaolo is the Executive Chef at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Chestnut Hill, MA. DePaolo grew up working in the restaurant industry and after graduating high school he knew quickly he wanted to pursue a career in the kitchen.
A true New Englander, DePaolo loves travelling around to local destinations such as Nantucket and Maine to gain inspiration for his dishes. DePaolo says he enjoys being a chef because, “I have always enjoyed cooking for others and using my creativity. I never saw myself as being a teacher, but now I teach people every day, which is something I have come to love about the job!” His signature dish at Davio’s is the Fusilli with Shrimp, Cherry Peppers and Pancetta.
When not at Davio’s, DePaolo can be usually be found catching a Boston sports game or checking out a local brewery. He resides in Norwood, MA.
